JOHN LOCKWOOD of ENFIELD WINE CO.
ENFIELD WINE CO. is part of the new wave of winemakers in California that has grabbed my attention. I tracked John down three years ago after reading about his wines in an article talking about the region of Fort Ross-Seaview, Sonoma. John's passion is finding incredible vineyards and making wine in a manner that has been lost in much of California for the last few years. Enfield wines are honest expressions of the varietals and the place they are grown. Enfield Wine Co. is not a large project. John puts a ton of work into making a minuscule amount of wine and is one of the hardest working guys I have crossed paths with in a long time.
