I am going to be on the floor at Sotto, GUEST SOMMELIER style, for the next two Wednesdays.
The Sotto team and I have selected three wine producers we are incredibly passionate about and are pulling corks to share these wines on cold January evenings. Flights of 4 wines are offered with some pretty special juice poured for each:
- January 24th - Brovia
- January 31st - E. Pira with guest winemaker/owner Chiara Boschis
Make a reservation at Sotto to join me as I pour wine flights and geek out about producers I love, just like the old days. I know Cincinnati loves Barolo and I'm sure these will be some busy and fun nights.
Founded in the village of Castiglione Falletto in 1863 by Giacinto Brovia, the Brovia Estate has been producing some of the best wine in the Barolo region for four generations. During this time, they've developed quite the reputation for being extremely conscientious winegrowers who farm organically in every sense of the word, and who harvest all of their vineyards entirely by hand.
Join us for our second of three Barolo nights this January 24th where we’ll be pouring flights of four of our favorite Brovia wines, coming from the famed Barolo wine region.
